We launched the My Brother’s Keeper Club in 2001 when the United States needed to come together the most after 9/11. We recognized that tragedy could strike any of us, and danger to any one of us affects us all as Americans. It is our duty to not only come together during times of tragedy, but also peace. Specifically, young men of color from historically disenfranchised areas need brothers and sisters geared towards the common goal of success. The club was founded to make opportunity accessible to all and to provide a forum for resources, support, and love.
